Bicycle Lanes for Austin, Texas
14 MayHi, who pays for these? I don’t know, but I would suspect some of the Automobile’s registration taxes help pay for road improvements. I am just wondering how are these bike lanes paid? Is it with local tax money? Property taxes? Federal and – or State monies? County? Do you know?
To my knowledge, cyclists are not required to have a license to ride a bike, nor are they required to have any sort of Liability Insurance. No license to drive, no tests to pass, no insurance required. Cheap and environment friendly, yes.
The reason I ask this is: when it comes to cyclists, I think they get treated really well here in Austin, Texas. They don’t have to respect the laws of the road. 1) I witness cyclists running red lights often; 2) I witness them riding past cars at stop lights, passing autos in a way that would be illegal for an auto driver to do 3) it’s like they dare drivers to hit them 4) driving in the middle of a lane make it dangerous for an automobile driver to pass, meanwhile slowing traffic causing a needless bottleneck.
All I am asking is, if they want respect on the road, where is the respect from the cyclists to the automobile driver? Do you know? Will you tell me answers to my questions about licenses and insurance, and who pays for these bike lanes?

The Evil Witch is Dead!
2 May
The evil witch is dead! and the US got that a@&%#*! in Pakistan, the lying b@#^&*! trying to be our allies. you know this will bring Obama’s rating higher! yippee! celebrate!
after 9-11, it was really hard to hate those f@#&*(%! that did this to our country, but I couldn’t. I don’t feel comfortable lugging that kind of weight inside me, but I assure you, if I could have, I would have killed him myself. Promise. He messed with my country and innocent peoples all over, and that destruction. He was insane!
I was in DC when it happened. I have friends that were in NY when this happened! I have friends that escaped the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, and I saw the Pentagon that day……we will never forget. And, I will always feel the pride of the passengers on board the PA plane that diverted it, and crashed into the field.
now, I am super happy the US! brought that a@%*^! down! no wonder we were in Pakistan….great job United States forces! F#@*% Pakistan’s government that would knowingly protect that witch! Ha!
Wow, this is great news, thank you United States Armed forces, thank you. Yes, I am proud to be an American. duh, we have huge issues, but JIHAD was wrong.
Peace,
